EVERYONE WITH A DIM RADIO PROBLEM
I dont have a accord but i work at a local honda dealership and we have alot of accords come in with dim radio displays...If your car is still under warranty they should replace it for you under warranty, there is no fix for this problem.

Actually, there is a bulletin about replacing the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) in the radio/hvac control that controls the display. Previously radios were just replaced, but Honda developed a repair method instead of replacing the entire radio.

You work at a dealership and giving info out like there isnt a fix for this issue? Are you serious? Are you a porter? Wash cars? There has been a fix for this for about a year. Before that they would replace the unit on a goodwill basis. IMO Honda in fact has done a great job at remedying this issue. Please stay away from the keyboard and study up on your TSB's

the warranty was extended to 7 years 100K on this problem.

The warranty has been extended (on the display) to 7 years/100k miles, but they would probably replace it at no cost regardless. Call your local dealership.

Thanks for the info I opened the file and its great news for me. I was gonna spend my $$ on this but now its good to know this info.....

I just found out that your outlet is affected by this. I have been quite lazy to go to the dealer and when i plugged in my portable gps, there was no power
