89civic help!!!!!!!!

My friends car is throwing check engine code 9. We cant figure it out and it runs like crap. The ecu is a p28 chipped. Can anyone help??

its a cps: No. 1 Cylinder Position Sensor (CYP).

its a crank postion sensor replace it or see if its un hooked.

But with the chipped ecu it will still read?? Also the crank angle has been completely removed.

what kind of chip is it is it a cheap ebay one.... if so all those do is up the vtec engagement and some remove rev limit nothing else yea it will still read.

The chip was tuned by a proffesional tuner. Can this happen if there is a wire harness error?

yea there could be a bad wire or something along those lines
