Anyone Gas Guage Is stuck at FULL?
I have a 89 si, my gas guage is stuck at FULL all the time!
Anybody know what can be wrong I am thinking it might be the cluster but anyways my cluster has 320,000 miles on it. I am thinking it might the resistor is bad?
any clues guys
?

And test the gauge
And test the gauge
ground wire out?
there is no ground wire at the pump?
I didn't test for power but what I think I should do is do a continunity test from the sender to the cluster..

I had this problem it wasnt the sender so I replaced the gauge in the dash I think it was like $27 at honda for the whole thing with the temp gauge attached as well

your talking about the circuit in the back of the cluster?

I had this problem too. I just picked up another gauge from pick n pull for free.

The resistor is what controls the signal from the injectors. So if it went bad the injectors would stop working. But it doesn't go bad, it's not a common issue.
Replace your cluster, easiest thing.

ohh I thought the cluster had some kinda resistor for the ohms in the back of the circuit...

i too have this problem...sucks...its been like that for half a year..try these, swap out cluster, unplug fuel sender unit(see if your gas guage meter goes down),volt meter, and swap out the sender unit.
YEA lol i just fixed mine hahaha
i just swaped out the cluster lol ...i change the cluster b4, guess the ones i had were all faulty lol. check your cluster
NOW i can cruise all i want without the worry of no more gas
yee

haha. I thought it was the cluster I will try to find another cluster soon.
