Are integra gsr's rare?
Im asking this particular question because I am having a hard time trying to find a clean gsr. Whenever I am searching for a teggy I get tons of ls, gs, ect but rarely any gsr's (that are clean and not riced or rusted).
So are gsr's rare? how many were in production?

Where I am, I see more GSR's with brake lights in the back window, and Type-R's with sunroofs, than real ones. It's hard to tell, but I think there are more of the LS and GS than any of the other models. I also had a hard time finding a GSR and I paid alot for it.

While they weren't that rare, new from the factory, they have become increasingly rarer yearly since then.
Theft is a huge reason. If you know what to look for, a real GSR stands out a bit, and is a significantly more desirable steal than an LS/GS.
Additionally, they are probably more prone to being "riced" out, m4d tyt3 vtak and all that, than an RS/LS/GS.
Then there's always conversion to dedicated race cars, which I'm going to assume has removed more GSRs from the street than GSs, for example. If you're building a race car, its either an RS (lighter to begin with), a GSR (for vtec) or the ever famous Hype-R. But why start with the more expensive LS or GS, when the additional parts that make them more expensive will simply be removed anyway?
Either way, they aren't so rare that mine has started to appreciate yet.
2000 Milano Red GSR, 69k miles.
kbb.com "good" condition value, $9,235
NADA "clean" value, $9,375
When someone offers me something in the $12k range, I'll consider them rare enough to sell mine.

92-93 GSR's are rare and somewhat hard to find and when you find them if they are in good condition cost over 5K in my experience.
94 and up GSR's are more common probably because they were made for so many years. but of course they were made much less than GS, LS, and RS integras.

1998 gsr completley stock 1 owner all highway miles, 160k for 4g's. Id say its a good deal. But yes they are muchh harder to find, seeing as though it took me forever to find mine.
yeah GS-R's were a bitch to find. It took me about three months constant looking to find a clean, unmolested one. Plus I was really picky about mine, but where I live I see GS-R's like...everywhere.
As for looking for one, take your time and don't rush it. Patience is a virtue after all.

It took me a while to find my 1995 gsr bone stock, 1 owner (50+ female) 130K miles for 5k. Looked for about 3 months, and then when I was real serious about finding a car, I found it within about a week.. You just gotta be patient and one will fall into your lap.. check out craigslist in your area, and newspapers and stuff. she's out there

Got it for $5800.
