Performance rear brake shoe?
Just going over the braking system on my car and have the fronts already setup but for the rears beforei buy the brand x napa auto parts rear shoes i was wondering if anybody makes anything performance for the rear seeing as this will be an auto-x/track only car and dont have the budget to upgrade to rear disc
stock caliper and rotors yes i dont see any reason to go bigger due to weight and budget but i am still out on the MC and booster not sure if there would be any benefit in going to the larger 15/16" setup
You may be able to benefit from performance rear shoes. My experience with them is that they cause the tail end to move around due to lock up because there is not weight on those wheels under braking. I don't know anyone in my circle that runs a performance shoe because of this reason.
As you on the brakes the weight transfer is moving towards the front of the car and taking weight off the rear. In this action a pad with some grip can cause lock up issues.
IMO, run stock compounds on the rear.

ok sounds good thats about what i assumed since thats how things are setup on my mazda but thats more for ABS reasons than anything. Stock compound it is.
Any suggestion on the MC swap of it would be worth it or not?
