the day of the club meet, all of us driving around, this happened . I was shifting from 2nd to 3rd and it held, it didnt slip it held the 3rd gear pull..i pressed the cluth in and no clutch.. no gear either.. expletive i broke something in the tranny. I roll into a church parking lot and i have SOME pedle pressure back, then i get all of it back. i dont know how or why, its a cable car. I let the clutch out and harsh vibrations and bucking comes from the car.. but it rolled.. I rolled home, parked it.. this is what got me going on my build.. i just needed a reason to pull the motor I started to take the motor out, and while i was trying to get the shift linkage un done, i noticed stands of hair like stuff, i thought i had hit a cat. I kept finding these l around where the dust sheild should go. When i pulled the tranny off, i found a hair ball size of this stuff.. it was like the dust/lent that you get from your laundry. I then pulled the PP off and found this... O_O

i got a 6pux sprung from Project auto salon, i ordered it just to get a new disc, luckly so now i have a new one.



mods were gt35r, 8 psi, J1 tranny, ... guestimating 250+ whp

 

did u bother to break in the clutch?

 

yeah.. that clutch had about 3k on it
