Default New to Honda-tech, not new to Hondas

Heard about this site for a long time even before I had my honda, never signed up for some odd reason, but from browsing a bit, I like it, and I'm sure Il have a good stay here. Name is Alex, russian by nationality, drive an 01 civic. Here is a brief mod list

Tokico blues
Neuspeed sports
SPC camber kit
ICW talon 17x7 black
Blaunkpunkt speakers
Eclipse old school sub
Kenwood amp
20% tint
Type-r lip (replica, but made to fit these cars) this is black for now
Catz Hyper yellow headlight bulbs
Motor mount inserts

I have more stuff, but it isnt really what I would consider mod list worthy.
Currently in my garage, I have a full exhaust setup waiting to be put on. It came off of an 03 ex, and those who know 7th gens know wires need to be extended and such, so Im just waiting to get around to it.
Exospeed header
test pipe
2.25 inch piping
Twin loop muffler by OBX

Also waiting on a set of Sparco Grip pedals

In the future I plan to also get
blackout headlights unless I do my own, in which case I would be more comfortable having a spare set of experienced hands
ebay yellow foglight kit with OE fitment
type-s side skirts
type-r rear lip

So thats my car and plans in a basket. It had an HID kit that caused glare so I sold it. Sold the revo v2 short shifter, and ebay intake. Right now I have other bigger things in my life, so this isnt my main focus, and this isnt the most mod friendly generation of civic to say the least, but I am happy with it so far.

Il try to help fellow 7 genners as much as I can with their questions, and hopefully you guys like my car. Thanks for looking! Here are a few progress pictures for your enjoyment.
P.S. I also like photography, but I am still a newb to it so youll see some of my pix have some "photographic" effort, if you want to leave feedback on that as well, id love it. Il post more in the following days, thought I would include that in my "intro"

edit: was asked to put pictures in the appropriate pic thread, so look there. Thanks

This is more of an introductory thread...and it would be more comfortable for people not to have to shoot back and forth for pix...il take the pix out and put them in the appropriate section nad leave the intro here

edit: since I am a trial member I cant post more than 5 a day, so questions will be answered tomorrow

: I will field yours now. In short, no the inserts were not worth it. The shifts were SLIGHTLY smoother, but the vibration on starts, with the AC on, and coasting in gear dont justify it. I actually want to take them out, just havent gotten around to it...however, I dont want to pay for a flex pipe so these will help prevent exhaust welds cracking from motor rock...I duno, if I had to go back, I wouldnt have gotten them, but they were cheaper than a flexpipe so its not all that bad

In short: they will cause vibration but if you are running an exhaust and are worried about cracking the welds, or are running bost and your motor rocks a lot, they can help with the cracking issue, and slightly improve throttle response.
