Hi I'm currently driving a 00 Civic Si and my car is bone stock, just lowered... Well I got a pair of skunk2 cam gears for a present and I wanna save money on installation. I need help installing them? Im pretty clueless of what cam gears will do to my car, but im not gonna just have the cams not go on. So what will cam gears do for me and how do I install them? Sorry for the noob question? I've searched on how to install these but there's no topic about it...

 

If the car is stock, cam gears won't do anything. They're tuning tools much more than power producing devices.

Installation is fairly straight-forward, but if you haven't done any sort of engine work, you might be better off having a friend or a shop install them for you. It wouldn't be fun if the timing belt skipped a tooth and you had no idea how to fix it.
