I personally don't care what people do to their cars, but misrepresenting their car with a sticker that does not belong there I can not agree too...

I was thinking of that too, but didn't want to jump to any conclusions. Although he does have a USDM engine, cluster, seats, wheels, etc.. Pretty much everything besides the front end is USDM ITR.

I was too, and I know its judgemental but its the truth. Thieves suck in so many ways. My gs-r has many ITR parts, but I by no means put them on there to represent an ITR- nor do I claim it to be.

Warning: Long explanation!
I do agree with this, but who knows if it was built with stolen parts or not. In general; I don't know why ITR owners get so upset with non ITR Integra owners and their attempts to replicate an ITR. The ITR is the best model integra. Some people can't afford an R, or the insurance for one. JDM ITR parts aren't that expensive and they can be purchased over time. Regular Integra owners look up to ITR's. I have an RS with some type r parts on it. I have receipts for everything...mostly jdm itr parts purchased from N1. With all the money I spent over time it would probably add up to a real R. I had a lot of fun building a car from scratch rather than buying an R and not wanting to modify it. If I had an R, I wouldn't touch it for several reasons. I wouldn't have bought a perfectly good R to take it apart and have it color changed, nor would I have put a jdm front on it, etc. To each his own...

Type-R owners don't get upset over someone modifying a lower model Integra with Type-R parts... They get upset when someone tries to pass their '94 Integra off as a Type-R to the general public. Hell, I've always wanted an LS to drive daily, with a few aesthetic Type-R components, just to edge it up a little.
It gets annoying when every question I'm asked in my car is, "Is that a real Type-R?"
I just tell them, "No, it's a stock LS."

Maybe she doesn't know too much about the car... But maybe her man does?
"You want your Integra to be nice sweety? Ok, give me a few weeks to find a good donar car..."

i agree, its gotten so bad that people don't realize what a real genuine R is now, my friend got pulled over in the summer and the cop actually asked if it was real or not.
like fine, if you rock the spoiler and everything and front chin lip, by all means, but don't go throw R badges on it.

yes but apart from the front end, they're all US spec parts....hence the suspicion

Werd.
That is exactly why I refuse to by USDM ITR parts. I know the market will never disappear, but I refuse to support it.
It's one thing to buy a JDM Front, JDM ITR engine, or JDM interior from a reputable parts seller, but when you see an LS/GS/RS/GSR with USDM Interior, B18C5, 5 Lug with USDM wheels, etc. it makes you wonder.
Even if the owner/builder isn't the theif, or didn't intend to buy anything stolen - with all those USDM parts, I'm sure an R was sacrificed.
If you want an R, buy an R. End of story.
