Injection Question
Im going to be putting in som dsm eclipse peak and hold 240ccs into my honda civic 1999 dx coupe d16y7, and i was told i need to fab a resistor box out of 10 watt 10ohm resisters, and to get and bore an injector seal kit. is this all i need or am i missing something?, and other helpful tips are greatly appreciated.

I'm a bit confused.
Why are you upgrading to 240's.
There's nothing that you can do to a Y7 that would make Y8 injectors (DSM or Civic alike) do?
If you're boosting and you don't want to stress the fuel system (pump and injectors), you should upgrade to more than just 240's.

i was thinking that too... but he didn't ask about that lol. i think he should call his tuner and ask what flow rate he should run.

He's gonna be boosting to 170hp and running the duty cycle at 90%

if he runs 90%, he'll probably be running fully open soon after his injectors fail from insufficient cooling.
to OP: you can find out what injector size you need by doing some math.
First you have to find the boost pressure ratio:
14.7+ Manifold Boost Pressure/14.7
then calculate your CFMs
CFM= Engine CID x MAX power RPM x Volumetric Efficiency x Pressure Ratio
then An estimate of the size you need:
Injector size in lb/hr = CFM x 0.44298/4
convert lb's to cc's and you're done!
oh yeah... you would still need a resistor box for PnH.

He could just throw some 450's in there and let the tuner decide the duty cycle, it'd be much easier

yeah im running 190hp and ecu is tuned for 240s not gonna spend more money, and psi is 6, so dont talk **** if u have no idea retards. go run ur pieces of shiat with ur ****** in tha bak.
