Default My little guitar project....

Alright so my "Strat" is cosmetically finished! New paint and custom scratchplate I had done where I work. I know some of you guitar heads will appreciate this. And for the car guys I'll just call the new color championship white

I should mention that all this guitar customizing is probably just the result of me having no car of my own at the moment Driving the wife's Suzuki FTL

i love strats.....but only becuase of the classic headstock.....unfortunately you put some sort of hideous handle looking thing on it....

none the less nice work with the paint.....and great choice in pick guards.

Haha, thanks? Yeah, any time you go custom you have people who love it and some who hate it. Thanks for being honest though <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Boost_V &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">That's beautiful man! Little bit of everything honestly. I have an oldschool Dean Explorer that I keep downtuned for some metal riffage but this strat sounds so smooth right now for blues/classic rock. I'm interested to see how this new mini bucker is gonna open it up.

Looks good. Was the whole thing a custom kit, or was it originally a Strat?

Haha, yeah those are some super pointy headstocks. Those and Ibanez are just looking to put an eye out <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Thirty-Nine &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Looks good. The whole thing came as an unfinished neck and body and basic hardware. The neck had some terrible backbow to it when we first got it and had to spend a lot of time getting it in check. It feels awesome now but that was probably the worst part.
