Ok so I've got a header, exhaust, and i lowered my car. Do you think they're going to honor my warranty or did i void it by doing those things. I don't know because i bought the car used. My car is hard to shift into third and I read extensively on the tyranny problems to DC5s have so i want to have it looked at. Do you guys think Honda would help?

 

whatever goes wrong with the car they have to prove your modding effected that area. You lowered the car so your suspension is voided. exhaust.. well anything OEM that goes wrong with the exhaust is voided. Other then then the rest of the warranty should be still good. It also depends on the dealership. Differente dealerships act differently towards mods. Some don't care, some do but what you have is nothing detrimental.

I don't think they will cover a synchro problem under warranty anyways. Unless it is an extreme grind.

 

If you have bumper to bumper what you have will not effect the warranty. Synchro problems are covered under warranty.

 

Nevermind. I was thinking recalls. My fingers have a mind of their own.
