Hey all,

What do yous all think of the DC5 'prodrive' wide bodykit, aka 'c2r' kit in Australia.? (The kit shown in my avatar). I was thinking of getting the bodykit for my car. Originally its a plastic kit, but there are many fiber replicas out there. Being a wide kit, the wheel arch flares and body panels are to be fitted to the car, anyone who has this kit on there cars, how are the side wheel flares stuck on? Are they bogged on too or will they look good just simply stuck on? feel free to post pics.

They are all brand ****** here. If you said it was a Spoon or a real Mugen widebody kit, they'de be all for it, even if it was ugly as hell. Like I said, how can anyone judge based on the pic in your avatar? You can't see **** but the right rear.... More pics FTW.

Looks like a tc in some of those pics. If you would put that on your car and dd it, you should end yourself.

 

Not a fan of it man, the stock bumpers look the best IMO

to me the kit looks ok, i personally am not a fan of large spoilers or wings, i dont like graphics either, unless they r airbrush show room quality. I can't stand wings, and the c2r kit doesn't really look rice at all. However im a fan of the C-west kit, or Tracer kit. In australia everyone or alot of ppl have mugen kits etc. the c2r is very diff, dats why i like it.

 

I like it except the wing, decals, sideskirts, front bumper, rear & front bumper, rear & front fenders and rims.

Body kits are dope IMO. Some but not all. I think people hate body kits because of the color of the cars that typically get body kits put on. You know the yellow, pink, blue, sky blue all the "rice" ****. I like some body kits on OEM colors.

Now make it happen buddie.

 

I think it would look pretty good, if you really needed it. Just as an appearance mod, it makes no sense. If for some reason you decided 7.5" wide wheels were not wide enough, I guess this would be the cleanest method. But it seems kind of like overkill.

 

if all the black parts were painted and u got a diff front bumper then it would nice.

i dont like body kits usually.... but this would maybe look good if it didnt have that paint job, halos, and wing....

That's because the Mugen kit for the RSX enhances the OEM appearance and stock bodylines, rather than make it look boxy like the body kit the OP is referring to. I mean... just look at the sides of the wb kit

Because there's a purpuse to those wide body kits. That's why they look ugly, they make you hit V-TAK faster!!! Ricers killed it because kits were orginally made for racing, not looks. Ricers =
