Default missed gear, jumped time, fixed timing...feeling a little slow???

well i got the timing straight and took it out and it just doest feel right. did a compression test. 195-200 aLL the way across. when its cold it idles weak some times like its bogging down to around 500 rpms. then if i rev it a little it will idle fine then come down again. possible to have a bent valve with good compression??

A leakdown test is more exacting of what is going on inside the cylinder unless you have a friend with a vacuum transducer and an oscilloscope and he knows how to read vacuum waveforms. He may be able to pick something up on a plain ole secondary spark pattern.

to keep the motor from turning you have to get the piston your testing at top dead center. once you get the piston in the right place it will stay still on its own for the test.
