88 CRX starting issues
Read this thread not too far down before I posted this: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2160598
I am having the same issues, and did not wish to thread-jack. Forgot to add, OBD1 d16z6 swap/OBD0 injectors w/ resistor box.
Sitting in traffic, car just died. Friend said he tapped the area near the ECU/wiring under the dash. Car would not start back up. Car turns over, just no fuel and no spark.
Tested for spark and got no spark. Swapped dizzy's and again got no spark.
Checked the spark plugs and smelled no fuel before swapping dizzy's. Can't hear the fuel pump "whine" or "kick-on" when key turned to on position.
Thought it was the main relay - upon turning the ignition, no clicking. Tried a different working main relay, same issue. We are getting power to the main relay.
Took my OBD1 ECU and put it in my friends SOHC EG hatch, and his car cranked right up.
Battery is charged.
Any ideas? Suggestions? Comments?

Sounds like my problem, except I never had mine started in the first place
.
and my battery is dead, so I have to swap my other car's in there whenever i work on it.
Have you checked your grounds?
And possibly the fuel pump main relay. Hoping that's just my problem

Can't forget the main one from the battery to the body, as well.

Alternator fuse was blown. When the conversion harness was touched, it shorted something out. Also double-checked the connection to the under-dash fuse box and that was not 100%. Fixed that up...new fuse...and back in business.
That was a new one for me.
