Default Half Shaft - JDM B16A1 for a type R B18

hey

a half shaft will work from a B16A engine for a B18 type R tranny/B18B (LS) engine block, right?

Any B series half shaft work for the B18B LS engine?

Yes and no. Yes, however the half shaft and drivers shaft have a different connection on the older B16s and Gen 2 integras. (half shaft is female and driveshaft is male and on the newer ones its reversed).

The man is correct. My DA half shaft is different than my DB. Like said, my DA half shaft has a female end, and my DB has a male end.

Guess I should've asked what year and model first...of course the older jdm B16 models would have the female style intermediate shaft.

Then the main issue will be whether or not it is a female style intermediate shaft or male. Match the correct cv shaft with whichever intermediate shaft you have for the driver side.
Example...if you have the older female style intermediate shaft, make sure you get the male style driver side cv axle. If you have the male style intermediate shaft, make sure you have the female style driver cv shaft.
