Default IHI turbo with what manifold

Hey i tried searching, but couldn't really find anything i was looking for. I am about to pick up an IHI turbo for the little D16. I was going to mate it with an HF manifold, but i want to run an external wastegate. What are some of the manifolds that i can run, that arent TOO expensive...are there any good ones on ebay? if there are, is there a way i can fab up a adapter plate so it can mate with the ihi turbo?

Let me get this straight. You want to run an Ishikawa turbo (IHI) possibly new, and then want to modify it so that you can use an ebay cheap manifold with it?

Either way, you have to get the turbo first (hopefully commonly flanged,) THEN get the manifold.

Or, get it right the first time, save up, and not worry about rebuilding a difficult to rebuild turbo.

No, i am not getting one of the bigger, more expensive ones. I am getting one of the smaller older ones, the cheaper ones. I do not want to modify the turbo, rather modify the manifold to fit the turbo
