Default auto trans shifting wierd

As the title states, i'm having trouble in my new teg....

I noticed this yesterday but i thought it was because i was very low on gas. Today it happened a couple times, i will have my foot on the pedal and it will not go any faster it stays at the same speed until it finally does shift it's notchy. The check engine light went on today, but it goes off the next time i start my car.

What does this sound like to you guys? I don't know much at all about tegs let along mechanics.

Help me out!!!

Pull the stored CEL. The Integra FAQ thread stickied at the top has an instruction link with the codes.

No, the codes should be stored. If you are having trouble, the other option is to go to a local auto parts store and have them pull the codes with a reader. They should do this for free.

I read how to do it, do i use the paper clip to connect the two wires while the car is running, then turn it to ING position?

You insert the paper clip with the car off. You then switch the ignition to the run position to display the codes. They car should not be running.
