Default New guy from Fargo, ND project thread (56k go run a marathon...)

Yep, I'm new. This is going to be my ongoing project thread. I will catch a lot of crap for this thread due to decisions I have made/products I have used but I'll set things straight right off the bat. I'm not some stupid ricer, I don't care about the next coolest JayDieEm thing, I don't care how much you paid for your name brand crap when the cheap stuff will work the same, and I probably don't like you and therefore I probably don't care about your opinion. All work is done by me, EVERYTHING from interior to body to engine building to tranny building, EVERYTHING. Now on to the thread...

-95 Civic CX hatch
-picked it up from some ricer for 1000 with a blown engine
-Sold the Del Sol seats, sold the motegi (sp?) 17" rims, and sold the blown swap and made my money back and then some, essentially got the shell for free

The day I got her:

How well does that engine run w/o the spark plug wires? .

Most people here would consider that rice, to each his own, but post this in the appearance/cosmetics section, that's for imagry and pretty stuff, this is a tech forum.

You can just PM a mod like Padawan to move it for you...or you can leave it here & be a dick .

Right now I've got the car skimmed front to back w/ filler and I'm in the process of blocking it. I don't have any pictures and it has gotten too cold to do any painting so I'll just take my time doing body work all winter and first thing next spring. Cargo Khaki.

It didn't, it was blown to hell anyways. this isn't an appearance/cosmetic thread, it is going to be a complete project thread you just posted too quickly while I was breaking up all my posts.

Okay, ****, I take back what I said .

Nice customization of the downpipe flange to make it fit, man, I wish I could weld!!! T_T.

Did he puddy the moldings? .

I'm not one for drag only cars, but whatever, obviously you're not worrying about where your next meal is coming from.

Though i gotta say, ask that ricer bastard you bought it from where he got that gauge cluster back-face from - I would totally rock that, haha.

I like this thread here. Sick n00b build.

Love seeing n00b avatars with few posts posting up good info. Nice build man. Good luck to you. I've got the same ideology behind my build. It will remain stock until ALL my suspension is ready to go on. The same with the engine. None of that piece by piece crap.

Lovin it.

Filled the moldings with various layers of bondo/fiberglass/paint/primer/more fiberglass/more bondo etc...

I'm a tech for a living, I do this for fun, my next meal is no worry.

It was actually ebay white face reverse glow gauges with some anime stickers on them. I pulled the stickers and Im using the reverse glow gauge faces because deep down inside I've got a little ricer in me.

Better yet, pull the air bag, put in a monitor, get mad and punch the monitor a week later. Now you have no air bag and a pointless air bag ricer shaving.

So you laughed that I got a 95 hatch (100% rust free and just a few small dings) for free (actually I made some money off of it's parts).

You then laughed harder when you saw that I got rid of a B series (the most overrated, you aren't cool unless you have, underpowered overpriced pile of crap ever) that was BLOWN THE HELL UP and swapped in an engine that is considerably cheaper to buy and build all the while able to produce more hp than anything you will ever drive. This leads me to believe that you laugh for no reason, kinda like the kid with down syndrome staring off into space.

Let me just quote my first post for you here..."and I probably don't like you and therefore I probably don't care about your opinion"
