Default ~Those with Spoon N1 Coilovers~

Can someone please send me their spanner wrenches so i can have my fab shop make me a set. All i need is a set to take some measurements. I bought mine used and the original owner no longer had them to send me. I figured now would be a better time to ask since most of you aren't driving your cars for the winter. I would greatly appreciate someone letting me borrow theirs. I'll pay you to ship them as well. TIA

Oh...and if someone happens to have a set laying around for some odd reason they want to get rid of, i will gladly take them off your hands

Is it just a normal spanner wrench? If so, and the ones from my PIC's will work, it's yours bud.

4 of us tried adjusting my suspension with the PIC's in my garage before leaving for EXPO and they aren't the right size. They continually kept slipping off. I am not going to pound the **** out of my suspension with a screwdriver either.

Well here are mine in all their glory . Could I take some measurements for you to help with the fab process? Maybe trace out the design or something. I don't mind sending them to you but I'm in Canada and I'm not sure what shipping would cost and if there would be any duty/customs charges going either way.

Let me know how I can help

I use my roommates wrenches from his K-Sports and they worked fine but they did slip a little bit.

we had them specially designed so that if you tried to use them with any other coilover, they would slip and scratch up your knuckles really badly so as to teach you a lesson......

Everytime i drive the R i can't get over how soft the ride is for such crazy spring rates. It just goes to show that performance doesn't necessarily sacrifice ride comfort. I tracked the car for the first time on them at EXPO and was so damn impressed. Victor... they are worth it

On a side note, i daily drive my PIC selects and am extremely happy with them as well

Victor, any of the OG N1 Showa suspensions are a quality no-brainer, IMHO.

The owner of PIC Performance posts in various forums here, and he provides great personal service and a suspension that appears to be a good budget alternative.

But he has a few thousand race wins to go to catch up with Mugen and Spoon.

You should just buy my N-Zeros I've been thinking of 'downgrading' as it seems such a waste to put the car on the street with such nice suspension (haven't done it yet).

But yeah, I've driven an ITR with the Spoon N1's and they were quality as well.

I always used to use a pair of oil filter pliers, some of you may know what style pliers I'm talking about. it used to fit perfectly around the locknuts of my old setup in my eg, the end of the pliers fit in the groove nicely but f's them up when you slip

Jon D, if you don't mind me asking where did you get your spanner wrenches? I need some too, but Opak doesn't have them in stock, I don't believe. Thanks.
