Default B18C1 WITH ITR CAMS QUESTION

hey wassup people...
i just want to be sure about this, i have an '95 integra gsr engine (b18c1) on my ride..

i got the ITR cams on my desktop waiting to be swaped on the b18..

my question is: do I need to change the valve springs & retainers to use the itr cams?
what do u guys think / suggests?

you don't HAVE TO. But people would suggest it, for peace of mind or someshit. I'd run the ITR intake valvesprings though.

Keep the revlimiter stock and you shouldn't have any issues. Now, wiat for all the people to chime into to say that stock springs will take 15,000rpms (or some stupid figure) with no problems. Its up to you to decide which answer is most intelligent.

Spend the 80 bucks and get some portflow inner springs

I just changed my stock type r's out for skunk 2 springs and retainers. There really not fun to change, took hours. I would get valve springs for it if your going to take the head off, if not, stay below 8100 and you MOST LIKELY will not have an issue.

Best of luck type r cam are fun!

hey thanks for the info guys...

will use the stock spring for the moment and save some money for the springs when the next tune-up time comes
