One guy wants me to swap his 2.0 puny SOHC F20 to real JDM TypeS H22A. I could manage to fight with OBD conversions but what makes me worried is ATTS and all the electric crap associated with that.
Anyone tried actually to do such kind of the engine swap?

You'd have to use a non-m2u4 trans.

 

The mechanical part is easy- I'm affraid about the wiring of ATTS unit and all those sensors used here and there, relays etc.

It could work....if you lose ATTS and get an adapter plate for the tranny.

forget the TYPE-S
shoot for the SIR-Spec
or better the Euro-R
Type-S is alot of work
with the wires
