Default K20z3 dyno, thought this was impressive!!!

We dynoed a 07 SI yesterday and I thought this was worth posting, The car had a stock mid pipe with a greddy muffler from a dc2, and a DC race header thats it.
We haven't seen one this good. Just curious what you guys think if this a freak motor or what?

a buddy of mine has a 4 door si.. made 182 bone stock.. took the drop in filter out and it made 191.

another friend has intake, header, exhaust and put down 203hp 150trq

I've got an 07 si. Those are pretty normal dyno results. everyone seems to be making ~180 stock.

cool just curious we have dynoed some with intake header and exhaust with a reflash that barely made 200 so this is why i posted it up!

With some tuning, I would bet it could get 203whp.

too bad a reflash is it for tuning on the z3. I think DBW has kinda been an obstacle for AEM and Hondata.

I agree. They're good numbers. Kinda sad for the guys with the reflash I guess. Thanks for posting the graph It's nice to see dyno results from a reputable shop.

My K20 made a little power with a SRI and aftermarket header though 2.25" ex piping:

It's not a stock ecu but for bone stock internals I thought it was pretty decent numbers.

You can make it work with Kpro but the stock digital dash wont work

you can? only 06+ Si's I've seen with KPro had switched over to an RSX throttle body and cable to get around the DBW. The dash didn't work in that situation, obviously..

the most i have seen from a stock 06+ si on our dyno is 183, most in the high 170's. a few in the high 180's with boltons.

we stuck a k24crv short block in an 07si and made 207 if i remember right.. cold air intake, DCRH, some sort of exhaust and a greddy e-manage ultimate.

Where theres a will, theres a way. Im sure its coming, it will just take time and determination for the ecu guys to make it all work together...

Thats awesome for a stock civic si!

Stock K sereies motors are like old muscle car V8's,they are very restricted from the factory. With just an intake you can gain 10-15 HP on a K motor...

Pretty good. The Hondata reflash helps quite a bit from 5,000-6,000 on the SI's that we have seen.
