Take the power steering off and you'll get 5 more at the wheels. Seen it with my own eyes

Then I said.... It's only a b16.

There's not much displacement there to make much N/A power with this motor. The RSX makes good power off of just a CAI, but its a 2.0. You get the idea.

Thats NOT a cold air intake, its the dc short ram. With an AEM he could prob break 150.

Also, look that the temp difference of the runs... that setup is probably 150whp at the same temperature.

*snickers*

I gained 7hp with an AEM CAI alone, and this was on a D16. I would hope you would gain 15 with those mods on a B16, but in reality it is probably more like 10.

Short rams suck!!!!!!!!Unless your using an Ice box, they just suck up hot air from the engine bay.CAI should give him a couple ponies.

that baseline run is bullshit. I dynoed mine bone *** stock right when i got it and i dynoed at 129 all day long.

Then with intake, header, exhaust,VAFC, i dynoed at 147.5. my baseline dyno was on a dynojet.....as was my second time...my third one was on a dynopack...yeah yeah...dynopack...i put down 161 with intake, header, exhaust, flyhweel,FPR,fuel rail, and VAFC...but there is NO WAY! a stock si could put down 141 hp.

Some engines are stronger than others. Some GSR's dyno at 135 WHP some put down 150WHP stock,so there are some stronger than others around. Not all engines were created equal.

I made 148.4/106.3 on a B16a2. Only mod is test pipe & DC2 axle-back, stock airbox. This was on 92 Civic HB, but that doesn't matter as it's only power to the ground, not power/weight ratio. I was on GSR wheels, everything stock, including clutch.
My friend made 157/119 on his 95 GSR. Only mods was gereric CAI, GReddy exhaust, and on 17" Volks.
