hey guys this is my second post on H-T, may be i'll have better luck on the paint and body.

i'm painting my car next week and i would like to find out what color code the car in the below photos.

pls help.

 

the color looks grey with a bit of blue and it changes in different lighting

i really like this color.

 

With cars that have been resprayed its really tough to tell. For all we know its a custom mixed color. Your best bet is to go to a paint store and look at they're color books. They'll have an example of every shade of every color you can think of. Other than that.. i dont know how to help. lol

BTW... Amazing color on that car. good choice.

If that is not Suzuka Blue from the S2000 it's pretty damn close.

 

I think suzuka has more blue in it. That color is nice though.

Could you just print a nice copy of the pic and take it to a paint shop and see if they can match it?

first off, do you notice the owner photoshop the picture to grayscale? so it could be in different saturation or hue if it's been thru photoshop.

it doesn't looks anything remotely like suzuka blue, not even close, unless omeone photoshop the heck out of the picture.

it looks alot like the flat solid grey off the audi TT, at least much more than metallic suzuka

 

looks custom. a silver base with very little blue mica.

and nothing remotely close to suzuka blue.

 

i dont know but this is the new bandwagon color for 08 so everybody better star painting there car this color. this is the second car ive seen that or a very similar color and everyone just askes for the paint code. if you want to find it you may want to print out the picture and take it to a paint shop and go through the paint book theres thousands of colors im sure you can find something similar.

 

i did that already but still couldn't find the match at the bodyshop

don't they have toner to play around for custom match color?
