ITR's have mounting points from the factory. For non ITR instalation you will need to drill holes and install riv-nuts. Go to mcmastercarr.com for the nuts

I doubt this bar even does this much if you have a rear strut bar.

Why do it?

It's not an R, never will be an R and IMO it's a stupid *** bar that shouldn't even be there our GD R's...

<---- effn frusterated at work and taking it out somehow!

I did it and it wasn't a PITA, it does help... It ties the frame rails together on the trunk wall. The man is asking for help, not criticism!

my buddy's gsr had threaded holes in behind the black plastic already, all he had to do was cut out a couple notches in the plastic. possibly from a previous owner i guess. peel it back and see if the holes are there.

I Honestly don't know why this was moved to the ITR forumn ? Since our cars already have this installed, why would we know what to do to put it into a Non-ITR Integra ? Should it be in Non-ITR Integra forumn since they install them more then ourselves ? But that's just my .02

Koala, every time you quote me, you have some smart *** comment to make...no i didn't "feel" a difference, but I know it can't hurt. It makes sense...it ties the rails...Honda put it on the ITR to improve rigidity. Along with the front strut bar, rear lower tie bar, etc.

SO based on your assessment you can't say it made any difference whatsoever. he wasn't bashing you. I was about to post the same thing.

... errrr, actually it comes in handy for tying the plastic grocery bags to so they don't go sliding around (when I had a "stock" ITR).
