Engine lite help need to know what the code is----

okay so i have an Auto 97 accord 2.2 vtec motor
and have the engine lite on for some time now it reads

blinks 5 times slow and then BLINKS 6 times fast.

can anyone help me out with this that would be great thanks again in advance

normally you read the long flashes as 10 and the short flashes as 1. So your code would read 56, make sense? Another example would be 1 long and 2 short would be a 12, that would be the EGR lift sensor.

Now I don't see a code 56 on any list I have so I'm guessing that maybe there is a pause somewhere in there and you didn't catch it so you just put all the flashes together maybe? Unless the OBD2 has a different set of flashes. So try it again and see if there are any long pauses between any of the flashes. if so, that indicates a break and you should start counting the new flashes.

Or even better, if the car is drivable, go up to an AutoZone or another auto place that does free code scanning and get the codes checked with a scan tool. You'll get a better reading this way as well.
