Default ITR head.. does this look normal to you?

96' spec ITR.. pretty dirty, but do those scratches on the wall look normal to you and the rocker arm wear? I think this is the first time in history this motor had its valve cover taken off. pretty yucky in there.

the scratches/rough finish on the walls are normal...part of the unfinished casting process

as for the rocker arm, its hard to tell...
is there any reason for you to suspect abnormal wear on the rockers?
is everything in there stock?

I second the scratches being normal. My 98 spec looks the same.

uhh....meat?

what else would it be besides metal to metal?

the oil that makes its way to the head lubricates the rocker arms...but if there is no oil it is metal to metal.....

OP looks normal to me
