FUEL INJECTORS
I HAVE A 91 ACCORD LX AUTOMATIC 4DR...I NEED TO REPLACE ALL OF MY INJECTORS....WHEN I REPLACE THEM WHAT ELSE SHOULD I REPLACE.....IS IT NECESSARY TO REPLACE THE FUEL FILTER 2....????? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED...THANX
It probably wouldn't hurt to change the fuel filter. Other than that if you buy the injectors and they do not come with a gasket kit. I would highly recommend getting the full kit from the dealership or parts store. I found the dealership cheaper for the injector gaskets and o-rings. and now would probably be a good time to do the DIY EGR port cleaning ( http://home.comcast.net/~em-engineering/T2T013.pdf )while you have the fuel rail and injectors off.
What makes you think the injectors need replacing?
A clogged fuel filter can make an engine run rather poorly and it only takes one load of bad gas to plug it up as it is just not that large. Have you considered replacing the fuel filter first? It is a lot cheaper than injectors. If the injectors are not that bad there are several things to consider as a way to clean them. There are fuel additives such as BG 44K (which many dealers carry and recommend) which can help clean the injectors and the intake valves. It costs less than $20. A more "heavy duty" cleaning consists of plugging into the fuel rail and running the engine on a special cleaner. Most dealers and many other shops perform this service. There are some "kits" that you can use if you are so inclined.
If you decide to replace the injectors you might just as well do the EGR cleanup as recommended and the throttle body as well. Unless you have recently done so it may be worth your while to do a good general tuneup, replacing the plugs, plug wires and so on.
Try the fuel filter first and see what happens.

lol who told you to replace your injectors?.......your mechanic has a boat payment due if he told you that. accord injectors can easily go 500K+ miles
all you need to do is
run sea foam through the brake booster line and put a CAN of it in your tank.
most likely will solve the problem
EGR passage glogging (most common problem on F motors) and you can remove the access plate by drilling out the rivits, clean and tap rivit holes for 10mm bolts

Not the brake lines, the vacuum line running to the brake booster.
