gut the car and you will see a difference , its slow because of the added engine weight , make the car lighter and you will see a big difference that engine has plenty of torque

Unfortunately neither is...

But you should go for bolt-ons then...

1st thing you should do is have the car tuned and make sure it's running correctly.

My $500 H22 longblock went 12.6's on stock internals NA in my DC2

If you search around you will find that a h22 is not much heavier than a b18. I think it was under 100lbs.

going boost on that car when it already has the potential to be a NA powerplant is stupid, especially with the way the h22 reacts to it.

get good boltons, then work on the head, you should be able to run 13's in that car with minimal work

a buddy mine had an h22 in his civic and was quick as hell and slamed you in your seat with, cams, intake, full exhaust header back, clutch, flywheel, plugs, wires, dizzy, intake manifold and throttle body you dont have to do much to those engines and you will have a fast car...

Yea theres only about 40-50lbs of difference between a b18 and a h22.

If you have an integra than I see absolutely no reason to not go h2b as you most likely already have most of the B series parts. The h2b will cost about the same as the full h22 swap if you already have the B series crap and itll be much much quicker. Slap in the b16 tranny

its a no for cams and gutting your car, if you install cams correctly along with rebulding the valvetrain, your gonna be close to spending what a turbo kit cost.

If you MUST stay NA, you're faced with a decision. Either pay up and get some power or muddle around with I/H/E (and waste $1000) for a few extra horsepower...emphasis on FEW. If you want to have a fun, reliable, faster car, then boost it. I boosted my GSR and couldnt go back to an NA Honda (other than an NSX)

Sorry, but if its slow, and you want to stay NA. Its going to stay slow. Sell the car if you want speed.

Its going to be pricey either way. As your well aware, you always pay more for H series parts! On the bright side, you will notice a difference if you add some Cams and/or Valvetrain. Id also throw in an Intake Manifold, considering Christmas is so close ; ] haha
