'00 #1438 Dyno Plot...criticism/suggestions WELCOME!
Current mods are...Comptech intake/Icebox, JDM DC header, 2 1/2 Carsound cat, B&M FPR. Fuel pressure is set a bit high at 54 psi w/ small adjustments made with the VAFC. This is w/ new OEM block w/ 900 miles.
Conditions:
Temp. 95 F
Humidity. 85%
Dynojet dyno. This plot is the 3rd of 3 runs made(due to time constraints) with minimal tuning in between each run. I wasn't looking for PEAK numbers, just wanted to smooth the powerband and keep the A/F ratio in check, although I thought my peak #'s might be a bit higher.
Please give me your thoughts/suggestions.
Thanks.

That looks alot like my dyno with equal mods. You're on the stock exhaust right? I think the top end won't take such a nose dive if you open up to a 2.5" exhaust to match the header/cat system. My dyno does the same yours does, and I have a 2.25" exhaust as well. I think the system just needs to be opened up.

SurferX,
Yep, stock exhaust. I do, however, have the SMSP b-pipe adaptor flange so I do have the b-pipe/cat connection bottleneck removed. I agree, though...a full 2 1/2" exhaust would probably help out a lot!

only 163 to the wheels sounds a little low for the mods you have. opening up the exhaust would definitely help but still seems low.
163HP? Did you baseline the car? Seems REALLY low. Most R's do that stock. I pulled the same numbers with my car stock. Something has to be up?

i dont have my microscope today..
