Do those throttle body spacers do anything?

Default Do those throttle body spacers do anything?

I saw them on ebay for like $45, just wondering if they work?

a slight gain in response on my 00 integra LS and a WHOOOOOSH noise at around 4500 to redline (not real loud/rice, but noticable); and they say it gets better gas milage. idk how much good it does to be honest. but if i had to buy it again i assume i would, it didnt hurt so i assume it helped lol.
