anybody seen or used these axles?
they cost 499. i guess islandmotorsports.com makes them but im gonna call them back again and ask that question to be sure.

well, i called the company and they told they were made by a company called "insane shafts". they told me that they use them on there own race car or whatever. i was just wondering if anybody had heard of them or used them and if there really any good.

I've heard good things about Insane axles from CA natives. I don't know too much about axle design and metallurgy but I talked to Mike from Insane a while back and he said his axles were chromoly but heat treated to where they are stronger than 300m. They also had larger bearings and cage. Like I said though, I've heard a lot of West coast guys having good luck with these. They are stock sized too if that makes a difference. I don't know if these are exactly what Insane was selling directly though. I think I still have his number if you want some info.
