Default worth starting this project?

i know this sounds like its in the wrong spot but im really concerned with the motor. i just found a 90 civic with minor body problems, nothin major. its just the shell but the guy said he would give me an LS motor with brand new VTEC head on it, also with the LS tranny. the car was origanally a project that never was finished it comes with the typical exhaust intake struts and so on. i was wondering if its worth about 2700 to to all this and if this motors really worth it. thanks

B Dawg, please ignore this young man

he seems to be the typical type to read an article in superstreet then claim he knows what he's talking about

save your money and buy something bone stock, then go from there...you don't want someone else's problem

hell no. you can buy a complete ls motor and tranny for a decent price. it may not be a vtec head on it but its still factory reliable...on top of that you have no idea the condition of that ls vtec conversion...the body is worthless and with that motor i would take it for about a grand 1500 TOPS
