Default 99' GSR catback on 99' ITR

Does this fit. I have a full ITR catback, JDM DC4-1 and ITR carsound cat. Wanted to upgrade out of my ITR exhaust and go into a Apexi N1 (for a 99' GSR).

Thanks in advance.

No, LS catbacks will fit but not the GSR

I think in 2000 and 2001 GSR catbacks will bolt up to the ITR and vice versa. They relocated the cat.

Just an FYI..I know this post is about '99s.

The GSR has both O2 bungs on the cat instead of one on the cat and one on the manifold like the Si and Type R (and the LS I guess). This makes the cat noticeably longer on the GSR, but I don't know that this would affect the fitment of the exhaust since in my experience the length difference is in the manifold and not the B pipe (I have an Apex GSR header on my ITR, which meant extending the cat). If the rear flange is in the same place it shouldn't be a problem, although the orientation of the flange may be different.

Short answer: I'm not sure.

this is your answer. a 94-99 gs-r catback wont fit. 00-01 gs-r catback (ie, LS/ITR) will.
