Gas tank shinanigans
Hello, I just wanted an opinion and i also have a technical question.
I was filling my 2002 Honda Accord with fuel using a 1 gallon plastic container, when I pulled out the nossle, I noticed that the Plastic cap about 3/4ths of an inch in Diameter was no longer attached to the tip of the nossle. So the assumption I am making about this whole situation is now i have a little plastic cap that is flat floating in my gas tank.
Is this going to be a problem?...its 190 bucks to remove the fuel containter. I am assuming that the cap floats in the fuel, but I am not sure.
Also, I have heard that some cars have two fuel filters, one in the tank and one near the engine. Is this one of those situations?
Thanks for any reply. Appreciate the help!

no it won't be a problem but if you REALLY MUST get it there is an access panel in the trunk where you can remove the fuel pump and retreive it.
