The DC5 suppose to reach 8400rpm but my car is not getting beyond about 7600 rpm . Any ideas what could be the problem?

 

depends if its a type-s or not. DC5 just tells us its an RSX. I'm not sure what a base RSX revs to, I think the type-s are around 8500?

 

your car is probly a base the type S is suppose to redline at 8200 i think

 

Im not sure about the base model to the type S but 8400 is pretty high. Mine I know redlines at 8200. With the kpro kit it will extend your redline 8600. Then again 7600 seems pretty low.

 

8200 or 8300, I forgot. You probably have the base model of ecu, but I dont know how that would work

 

Makes me miss my Si... mmm 8k red, 8500 fuel shutoff. (like thats much diff haha)

hope you don't have stock valves. Constant 8800 redlines... and shloop bent valve.

 

do u let ur car warm up?? well if ur car isnt warmed up it doesnt let u redline that high
