You mean as opposed to using the Hasport cable to hydro conversion? I'd say stixk with the hydro tranny, most cable trannies grind gears and cable trannies are becoming scarce.
I should have done the same and switched to a hydro as well...most cable trannies you run into are old and require a rebuild. You will need the conversion hundred something and new tranny mounts. When i researched it originally it came out to about 350 or so. It wasn't worth the extra money. But now i regret not going that route...
convert to hydro for the reasons above (most cables tranny's are messed up) I converted after i put 3 different tranny's in my car and all were messed up....hydro b16 with quaife lsd FTW
that's pretty much the only route to go....those mounts are well-engineered and the techs know what they're talking about. so i'd go hydro if i were you. I'm in the process of rebuilding my cable tranny. buying a cable tranny is hit and miss unless you really know the guy or drive the car with the tranny in it before you buy it.
