Default fitment issues with b16 block gsr head..

i am buying a built gsr head thursday it was milled .30 valves..springs..retainers..ect. with the skunk 2 pro 2 cams. the guy said i might have clearance issues with the big cams and the pistons or something like that.. does anyone know anything about this.? thanks.

Those cams are a little large for a 1.6l

with a good tune wont they work out ok? do you know if the setup with fit?

Only way to know clearance is to clay. Cams are to big IMO. Pro1's are big on a .6

How about stage 1? You have a B16 not a B20.

the problem is the head i am buying comes with either stage 3 or pro 2's so i would like to make them work.

Find a bigger displacement block. Not worth the effort on a .6 with either of those cams

should i sell the pro 2 they r in the box n get smaller cams? would that solve the problem.

reading comprehension man.

yes. the cams are too big as stated before. Either gain compression and/or displacement or run a smaller cam.

pro2 is a large cam.
