i just got a DA for 600 bucks!!!!!!
except for the ghetto *** headlights, passeng fender, bumper that hangs bcause of the cheap one peice head lights that dont fit right, and the stupid scoop on the hood, it was a pretty bad *** deal.
they really sold it so cheap because they thought the starter was gone........but they were dumb and didnt realize that all the corrosion around the terminals was keeping the battery from being fully charged. i cleaned up one of the terminals and replaced the other one and used the new battery from my crx that i recently wrecked and it started with no problem(we push started it to get it home). o i forgot to mention it has one of gay white faces on the gauge cluster and a stupid little shift light that got in the way and blinded me more than it helped. apparently something got messed up when they changed the cluster cause it sits on 0 when it idles. but the engine idles correctly and runs very strong.
the guy gave me some fenders and bumper from like a gs or something he found at a yard. i'm gonna try to go tomorrow and get some new headlights, corners, and left turn signal from a da that my buddy saw at a local yard. with a little more work this car will be nice, but a big problem right now is that it doesn't lock! considering the fact that this will be my daily driver from here out, it is imperetive that i fix this. the lock buttons move freely intead of in the lock or unlock position, when i turn the key on the outside of the door it doesnt move. this is on both sides. once i get a reader for my memory card in my phone i will upload pics, until then im going to continue working the bugs out.

Well i was in a hurry last night so i didn't care.

Yea thats what i was thinking about it. It still locks from the outside so its ok for now.
My reverse lights don't work. I checked to see if the sensor is plugged up and it is. My brights dont work either. When i turn them on my lights go off altogether. I was going to check the fuses but the panel that covers the fuses isn't there and that shows the location of each fuse. Can Anybody look at theirs and tell me which fuse is for the back-up and or bright lights??????

Yea thats what i was thinking about it. It still locks from the outside so its ok for now.

I will post pics as soon as i get a memory card reader.
I checked the fuse box under the hood and the one that says "back up" is not blown. Tthe bulbs look good and the reverse light sensor is plugged in. I dunno
I still have no idea which fuse is which under the dash. Is there a fuse that's just for the bright lights? Although it may have something to do w/ the ghetto job somebody did on those cheap, ricer a$$, one-peice head lights. They don't even have the brackets on them; they're just bolted to the top of the frame. I took them off earlier and it looks like one of the wires isn't hooked up.
