So i took my tahoe in for a car wash since its been dirty for weeks. walked out to the front to wait for it. then the manager comes out and calls me to the back to tell me that they had a little accident. They claim that after vacuuming the truck they put the floor mat in wrong and it was on top of the gas pedal. (after they had already vacuumed it and moved it to be washed) the truck was waiting to go into the washer. the guy jumped in and "started up the truck" and "put it in drive" (remember the floor mat is supposedly on the gas pedal) and the truck took off and slammed into the managers "explorer". he said he was getting his truck washed. i look at the explorer and it had no damage. when clearly on my trucks bumper it was crashed into a different vehicle with a tow hitch. and they just let that car go and i didnt even get to see it. help me out guys...what should i do? any suggestions?

the police didnt make a report. and i was told the only thing i can do i notify the insurance.

they said they would fix it for me but i have to drop it off to them so they can take it to go get estimated at their own place....i said forget that. ill take it to my own

ohh yeah they guy that moved it is an illegal immigrant and has no license

do it through insurance. Make sure an accident goes on the record of the Explorer.

If one thing goes a little bit differently than you hoped, really expletive them over in any way possible.

Make sure they lose money or feel it somehow for not hiring a U.S. citizen just to save a few cents per hour.

Considering their attitudes towards the whole thing, I'd call immigration on their ***. Get the owners screwed and the worker(s).

Listen to him. This is EXACTLY how it needs to go. Your insurance should do the rest of the foot work for you. Hopefully you can rely on them. Good luck!
