problem getting key out of ignition
i had my 1990 accord dx automatic for 2 winters already.
Everytime it's cold out and my car is not really that warm (i drive only a few blocks to school) the car would not shift into park. i can put the shifter into park but it takes my car about 10 minutes for the car to realize it is in park before i can take the key out of the ignition.
This does not happen in the summer.
What can be the problem?

sounds like your shift linkage is binding. I has that same issue with my cousins montero. I ended up spraying wd40 down the shift linkage, inside that rubber/plastic insulation, then I shifted it from park to L back and forth, it fixed the problem for about 6 months then we just replaced the inkage.
hope this helps
