looking into a 2004 type s what do you think
well i just sold my ek and i was looking into a type s i wasnt trying to spend much and i found a 2004 type s with 53,000 miles, the guy wants 13,250.......... this is what it says in his ad
This car is priced to sell. I am the original owner. Car runs and drives great. Fun to drive and great performance. Purchased another vehicle and need to sell this car quickly. Mostly highway miles accrued due to school and commuting. Minor cosmetic damage. The vehicle will come with the original stock wheels, but I am willing to sell the genuine Honda JDM Type-R wheels for an additional price. Located in Bayside, NY. Feel free to contact me for additional photos and information. Several modifications done which include: -JDM Black Housing Headlights -Tein Coilover Suspension -Aftermarket HID headlights -Innovative Motor mounts -Fujitsubo Catback exhaust -Fujita Coldair intake

what questions should i ask him and how much do think i should give him

he didnt list the vin so i have to wait til i call him to ask him for it but i would like to get some feedback from you guys since some of you know alot about the type s
i would test drive it, carfax it. Nobody just buys all those listed as a "School commuter" seriously. I'd look into it before actually purchasing it.

check the frame to see if its bent or been fixed. Check for possible tone differences in paint or over spray, it will indicate that the car has been fixed before.
Check that the transmission shifts smoothly. Take it up to high rpms and see that it shifts smoothly uptop aswell. Make sure there are no CEL's.
When you test drive it, make sure all the music is off. Drive with the windows down and listen in for any abnormal sounds etc. Make sure everything electrical works. This may include sunroof, windows, wipers, lights etc....

when i go to test drive cars i usually let my pops drive it because he knows more then i do so hopefully he can hear if anything sounds weird but how much do you think i should offer him if its perfect
well look at http://nada.com under consumer and see what FACTORY with that mileage would be for a price.
also with having mods i'd start at couple grand lower then nada price since it's already been modded. that is why i say factory price, meaning stock.

i hope so... well it says that it would go for 14,550 as a trade in, so mayb i could get him to go to 12, if it runs perfect
hopefully he didn't dog on it. With those mods, i bet he did and it surely wasn't for a "school commute". I'm pretty sure a little wheel and deal you can get him down to that or at least 13k.
seems like a good deal man, id offer him 12,500-12,000....... where are u located in 845? i got the blue rsx floating around fishkill area....
also look for the vin number in all the pieces for example. the hood, fenders, hatch, bumpers etc. they should all match the vin that is in visible behind the windshield.
good luck with the purchase!
