hamster wheel motor cleaned!
I got tired of having a dirty *** engine lol, so I got off my butt and sprayed down some degreaser and washed it off w/ a power hose. That didnt satisfy me. I bought some simple green and went to town with a hard brush and a soft long one. I'm pleased with the results.

Peace out 17 year old dirt and grease!

pic of the car:

going to paint my shave and paint my valve cover eventually like this w/ my neuspeed oil cap and ngk wires. should probably relocate the battery and rad. reservoir.

id keepthe radiator reservoir but def reloate that battery...i always think they should be moved if you have a metal CAI like ur aim, because if that grounds out on your battery that nice clean bay is gonna catch on fire
real nice work for some simple green and elbow grease though

thanks, no I didnt because a lot of friends just told me to not directly spray electrical components or even focus on them long. I just sprayed the car about a foot away. But that didnt really do much, I had to scrub with simple green lol.

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to try to find an Odyssey battery and tuck it in the fender or trunk.
Yea I'm going to do it again with a smaller brush, there were just so many spots I couldnt get to w/ the huge brushes I had.

what do you guys think of my "ASICS" shoe inspired valve cover design aha.

I've never painted a VC before, so I dont know how i'm going to get those curves.

painters tape for the curves...just eyeball it...mask it off...take your time...best thing to do is get a spare VC and practice
you could prob get a spare VC at a yard for cheap
