i made a previous thread about my 93 vtec that wasnt running, and found out that the only problem was that the timing was off horribly. im picking it up from the shop today, and the mechanic told me that it runs fine once warmed up, but becase of the skunk2 IM and TB that it wont warm up unless i sit in the car and give it gas the whole time, until it warms up. has anyone else had this problem? or is it even the IM and TB? thanks for all the help guys.

 

i believe it to be an IACV problem.

does your IACV have coolant going through it?

in the summer, i bypass it to keep my intake temp down, and if it is below 40*F or so, i have to play with the throttle for a few minutes to keep her goin. When i connect it again, the problem goes away

 

that sounds to be a good answer to his problem being that he lives in IN and would imagine that its pretty cold there around this time.

 

did you get your car retuned once you installed the IM ?
