Hey fellow Honda-Tech people. I have a 1996 Honda Civic EX with an H22a4. My mods right now are AEM Hybrid Cold Air Intake, Ebay Header, Test Pipe, 2.25 inch OBX exhaust, Magnecor race wires, Walbro fuel pump, Comp. Clutch Stage 4, Visteon/C&R full size race radiator, and Hondata s300.

I' am looking into getting my head ported and polished; which company do you guys recomend. Also I would like too get cams but I cannot decide which cams to go for, Skunk2, Crower etc. I dont need a cam that is too aggresive but has good mid to high range power and reliability. Any help in these departments would be appreciated.

So down the road my mods with be everything stated in the first paragraph but with SMSP or Hytech header, KTeller 3" exhaust, Head work, cams, and possibly the new Skunk 2 intake manifold.

Whatd you think I could put down with these mods.

hard to say but my ex g/f threw down 170whp on a h22a4 with similar mods....on a dyno jet ..... outside temp was 63 degrees

have you looked into the idea of a h2b setup? the b series transmission alone will drop your quarter mile times.

 

yeh ive seen the kit. Yeh I' am going to do that in the future when I get another car so I can strickly drag race my car at the track.

I sent an email to the h2b people and havent gotten anything back.

 

ive sent emails before too, took them a couple days to get back to me.

for your cam dilemna, i think skunk2 pro1s are a great choice for a mild build. just search a little on cams, u will find opinions that meet what you are looking for.

 

a b16 transmission on an h22 would b killer........ hope u have a lsd /traction bars /and good tires...... lol
