would ITR headers be just as good as say dc sport 4-1 headers? they have a 2.5in collecter right? any input would be great.. thanks.

y do people assume the itr header is good. lol and no the dc header isnt good either. hell the hytech replica header thats floating around on here is better than both and the same price. if u have a built head dont use the itr or the dc. get something good. like an smsp, hytech, toda, rmf, an-r, bisimoto.

the new bisi header is nice as hell. and not expensive.

There's literally a billion of them available or talked about everywhere around you. Just type hytech in the search function and watch what happens...

What most people are saying is that the hytech replica is the best alternative to the DC JDM 4-1 with the 2.5" collector which is in the same price range. If all you can afford is a $149.00 stock JDM 4-1 replica, than I guess that's what you're stuck with. Money = options so if you don't have it, asking questions about header options isn't really a reality is it?

get a dc 4-1 i hit over 200+ with this header and it was smashed on the bottom then i went back to churches with a the same header but it was new and 310cc injectors to see if there was more power to get but i only gained like 2-3 hp more so the header is not so bad for the price got mine for $150 used in mint!

dc jdm 4-1 is garbage
no matter what, the runners always end up getting smashed on the bottom.
i would have rather went with the jdm itr w/ skid plate.
you get what you pay for...

I had my DC JDM 4-1 header on my car for years with a b16a in it (meaning the header will hang even lower than normal) and I never scuffed the header once. The biggest issue is that my car is only lowered 1.3" whereas most people slam their car to the ground. If you have a car that is slammed, this header may not work for you. The DC JDM 4-1 in the great header test on this site years ago, performed better than or equal to all of the other headers in the test including the high end ones up to around 6-7 thousand RPM. For some reason people like to bash it because people dent them all the time but for anyone who chooses to educate themselves, it was probably one of the best performing production headers available for years. The Edelbrock with the collector modification performed well but is virtually impossible to find now. Ever since some companies decided to copy the high end header manufacturer styles, it became easier to buy much better performance than a regular production header could provide, for a lot less money.
