Default TW (trade) 2000 RC51 for ........ :)

Wasup guys well (MAYBE) I want to trade my rc for a 600rr lol I know I know (too much power for u blablahblah or cuz its salvaged title or something wrong with it blahblahblah hahah ) well I can handle the power I know soo and its not the title or anything like that but here the story went to twisties yesterday for the second time(first time the suspension were not set up for my weight second time its was setup on my weight) and just don't like how it turns I had to put a lot of effort to turn the bike (I had to counter steer much more then my gix) which it doesn't feel right to me well maybe I just have to get use to it I dnt know

Will see what I can get for it

Let the flame begin hahahah cheers

That's how the RC's are. Hard to flick in, but stable once you're there. It helps if you use your body weight.

+1

An aftermarket shock (elka, ohlins, etc) with a taller rear ride height will really help with this.

Why would we flame you? RC51's aren't the best bikes out there. rdblackSV650s traded his RC51 for a SV650.

you can do lotsa other stuff too: drop tripples on fork leg a few mm. , install dampner b4 getting crazy with that adjustment, offset triple tree.... used to get em from I think erion,, not sure.
the shims will help for sure, the forks need revalving if theyre still stock, this helps a lot.
the rc is a great ride.... but id rather ride a fast 6 myself..... just my personal opinion tho.

Sry but i thought the rc51 was a factory inspired race bike so how could it not handle well maybe you just need to get use to the suspension and breaking in and throttleing out. since the rc is a totally different setup compared to the Gixer.Sryy if it seems like im saying you dont know how to ride Im not your proble really good Im just trying to help but any ways. Maybe try and sell and buy one but I dnt think you get enough to buy a rr. I have a 06 636R ninja and i love the way it handles on the track and cayon and its all stk and im a lil dude but anyways good luck

My RC turns just fine... 190/55 rear tire + Dan Kyle Shock Link + Penske 2-way + proper fork springs + forks dropped 1 line in front = no problems here....
