Whats up guys? Ive been in the Honda scene for the past two years and started off with a bone stock 98 Civic DX which now has a fully built B18C5, 5 Lug and all that good stuff. Now ive put so much time and effort into the car and fully built motors are not always the most reliable so Ive decided to start looking for a nice daily driver. Im obsessed with white S2000's. Id like to know the differences from all the models from 2000 - 2007. I hear that there are some small changes here and there abn Id like some input from some S2 owners so I can decide on what year to get. Thanks!

Get an 00 or 01 and if you have a problem with the plastic window swap it out for the glass or get a hardtop. Dont bitch out on the ap1 esp the 00-01.

this is true.

the 00 is the best model year of the ap1. and the ap1 is the best, so the 00 is the best possible year you can find.

but switching out the plastic top for a glass one is a lil expensive.

or just take good care of your plastic like me

 

Go with an AP2 its a better daily and its a little more refined. I dont own either but from my research at s2ki and HT its more practical and more refined. Im not raging on AP1s so dont get your pantys in a bunch I love all s2ks equaly.

but seriously we all have our own thing with both..
both are great cars...
look at both and look into your future mods etc.....

 

Im leaning more torwards an 00 White AP1 They are alot more affordable than the AP2's, Rev higher , and look sexy as hell with a black hard top. Id like to make the payment in cash so AP1 FTW.

 

it all about what you like sir. it seem like you know the minor differences between ap1 vs ap2. i have found on s2ki, people will fight and kill for ap1 vs ap2, choose what you like and go for it. good luck sir.

i personally like the the rev,headlights, and suspension on an ap1, but i love the front and rear bumpers, interiors on the ap2. i also purchased one at a hell of a price so i got the ap2.
