The header is for a type r which has a b18c5 so I don't know what I would need to do, if anything, to make it fit my LS B18b motor.
It will definitely fit on the LS block, but you will have to modify the flange bolting to the cat because the mugen header probably have a 2.5" flange.

so what if i run the Mugen header onto a Mugen exhaust?
Btw, how sure are you that the header will bolt right up to the LS block?

the header itself will bolt onto the motor, the only thing you will have to do to make it fit is the bpipe or the cat depending if the header. the bpipe will either needed to be extended or shorten then also the flange might need to be changed also if the header flange is larger.

You will need a different catalytic converter. Is the Mugen exhaust (I assume twin loop) modified for USDM catalytic converters? King Motorsports did modify these to fit.
The header will bolt to the B18B head with no problems.
